No, we do not recommend using Grease Remover on raw wood or on surfaces treated with products other than Rubio Monocoat finishes.
After using Grease Remover, we recommend cleaning the surface with Rubio Monocoat Surface Care to maintain optimal protection. If the stain has deeply penetrated the wood, you may need to reapply a small amount of the original colour oil to restore the appearance of the treated area.
No, sanding is usually not required after using Grease Remover. However, if the stain has deeply penetrated and visibly altered the wood, you may need to apply a small amount of finishing oil to restore both the look and protection of the surface.
