Interior Wood Cleaning
How to Keep Your Interior Wood Clean
Vacuum or wipe frequently to remove dust and sand.
Frequently Asked Questions
You may vacuum as often as needed, depending on the traffic level. Wet cleaning should not be done more than once a week. Always wait at least five days after application before the first cleaning, and only use Rubio Monocoat products such as Surface Care, All Natural Wood Cleaner or Universal Soap.
Excessive cleaning or using a too-strong soap mixture can leave a thin soap residue on the surface. This residue attracts dirt and makes the surface look dull. If this happens, Deep Cleaner should be used to remove the build-up before returning to normal maintenance.
Most stains can be removed using Universal Soap, Surface Care or All Natural Wood Cleaner. For more stubborn marks, targeted stain removers like Limespot Remover, Grease Remover or Tannin Remover offer an effective solution. If a stain has penetrated too deeply, lightly sand the affected area and reapply Oil Plus 2C to restore the finish.
